The building is one of the oldest buildings... on Gravenhurst's Muskoka Rd. Built in 1885, it has a long history to be proud of, serving the community for over a century. The building is one of the few to survive the great fire of Sept 23, 1887, when all the buildings south from Harvey St. to Sharpe St.on both sides of Muskoka Rd. were destroyed. A visit to the shop is a pleasing experience for the senses.
